Make Gold Lustre Wedding Invitations
When our new recycled range of papers arrived in stock, we couldn't believe our eyes. They are so luxurious, we couldn't wait to start playing with them. The metallic Edwardian Lustre Range was a great place to start.
These invitations are easy to make at home. By swapping the paper and ribbon, you can completely change the look of this design so why not have a play and see what you can make?

Gold Lustre TemplateSo Here Are The Instructions……
Instructions
- Download the Gold Lustre Template. Type your wording in to the printable area.
- Cut a piece of Coloured Paper 22cm x 15cm. Print your wording on to this paper.
- Cut a piece of Matt Off White Card 22cm x 15cm. Use the tape runner to stick your printed panel on top of the Matt White Card.
- Cut a piece of Edwardian Lustre Paper 15cm x 8cm. Use your tape runner to stick this to the top of your invitation panel.
- Use your tape runner to run a line of tape along the bottom edge of your lustre paper. Run a second line of tape just above this. Take your ribbon and starting at the centre, press it firmly in to place on top of the double sided tape, making sure that the overlapping edges on each side are roughly equal.
- Turn your invitation over so that the back is facing you. Use your tape runner to secure the overlapping edges to the back of the card.
- Trim any frayed edges with a scissors
TIPS
1 - If your ribbon is very thick, you may wish to use a glue gun to secure the loose edges to the back of the card.
2 - If you are layering the ribbons, it is also a good idea to use a glue gun to secure the ends in to place at the back of the card.
3 - If you would like to save a little bit of money, you can alter the size of the invitations to 20.5cm x 14cm. This will allow you to get 2 invitations out of each sheet of paper and card.
