So this design is a little bit out of the box! When our new table runners arrived in stock, my brain went straight to table decorations and how they would add such a beautiful finishing touch to a venue. But not all great minds think alike!! Jacques brain went straight to how amazing these would be to make wedding stationery from. The width of the table plans gives even more versatility that standard size ribbons so you can let your imagination go a little wild! These lace wrapped invites are a perfect example of how well you can use a table runner in the design of your wedding stationery. And because you'll only be cutting sections off the table runner, it also works out to be a really economical way of making wedding stationery.
Why not give it a go?
So Here Are The Instructions……
Instructions
- Print your wording on to the A6 panel. If you are adding an information sheet, you can also print this on to another A6 panel.
- Cut a piece of your table runner 15.5cm high. It's helpful if you measure this and mark a line with a pencil. You will then be able to make sure that you cut straight.
- Place your printed invitation in the centre of your piece of table runner. Wrap the loose ends of the table runner in towards the centre so that they form a wrap around the invitation.
- Thread your Rose Key on to the flax cord, making sure it sits roughly in the centre. Holding the key at the front, centre of your invitation, start wrapping the flax cord around from the left and right side so that it meets at the back. Once it has met, wrap back around to the front in the same way. Repeat this until the cord wraps around the invitation about 3 times, meeting at the back. You can now tie a double knot and cut off any loose edges. It really is as easy as that!!!!
